Mr. Morrison was my grandmother's original boyfriend. Indeed my grandfather, Andrew Jones, cut him out, but Mr. Morrison was always around after Momma Jones (Mme. Willi Posey) separated from Grandpa Jones, and he was her boyfriend over all the many years. Nonetheless we called him Mr. Morrison until he finally married my grandmother around 1978. Then we called him Pop-Pop briefly until my grandmother died in 1981, whereupon things kind of fell apart. He subsequently re-married and died of Altzheimers. Him and my grandmother use to enter and win dance contests together when they were teenagers. And there were photos, which I suspect he must have taken when she died because we never found them. Oh well. He was my godfather officially, and he functioned as well as a second maternal grandfather to Barbara and I.
